Engineering Procurement and construction or commonly known as EPC, is a unique kind of contract or an arrangement which is being used in some industries in which the respective contractor is made responsible for all the activities from design, procurement, construction, to commissioning and handover of the product or the service provided to the End-User or Owner.

EPC in solar energy
EPC is a special form of contracting agreement for some projects within the manufacturing and exploring resources and energy industries. In an EPC agreement, the client selects a contractor who provides management services for the whole project on behalf of the client. The EPC contractor coordinates all design, development, procurement and construction work and ensures that the whole project is completed as required and in time.
